FROM THE CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD – COSTA SPHERIS

Welcome back, I hope you all had a restful and peaceful festive season.

As most of you are aware, there have been changes to the Board of Trustees.   Craig Anderson, Julian Scher and Chris Oelschig have resigned and on behalf of the Board of Trustees and the residents, we thank them for their enormous contribution to Dainfern.

Bradley Riemer, a Chartered Accountant and partner at Watermark Auditors, has been co-opted onto the Board of Trustees.  He will serve on the Finance Committee and has immense experience in the accounting world. In addition he is a popular resident on the Estate who is willing to assist on the Committee.

The Board of Trustees is now made up of 5 Trustees with an option of co-opting two more members.

The professionals employed by Dainfern form an integral part of Dainfern Estate with the Trustees functioning as a conduit for residents through to our permanent staff.

Dainfern have professional teams running the Estate, Golf, Food and Beverage, Security and the Estate Maintenance and as such we as residents must respect their contribution towards the smooth running of the Estate.

I believe that 2010 will be a fantastic year and am optimistic that all that has been planned will reach fruition.

Dainfern is our home, our sanctuary and we must respect what we have.  We must treat our Estate with tender loving care and, most importantly, be proud of what we have and continue to ensure that we enhance and maintain the beautiful Estate in which we live.
